On the 23rd of January 2023, an online meeting was held between the coordinators of projects starting in 2023, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Sport programme and representatives of the EACEA.
The Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) manages the Union’s funding for education, culture, audiovisual, sport, citizenship and volunteering.
During the meeting, the current highlights in the administration, implementation and reporting of projects in the field of sports, as well as the implementation of the planned activities, were presented. The team of Bulgarian sports development association took part in the meeting in connection with the newly launched initiative #SMS – Strong Mind for Success, which started on January 1, 2023 and is co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.
Strong Mind for Success is an initiative aiming to build capacity in sport organizations nowadays in the field of mental care awareness and care towards youth athletes. Strong Mind for Success project will deliver innovative education on how mental health can contribute for the successful development of young football players in Bulgaria, Italy and Slovenia.
